The new for 2025 Discovery Meadow re-theming of part of Kentucky
Kingdom really makes me happy. THIS is what Herschend intends to
do with all of Kentucky Kingdom and it just gets me excited.
The whole area is covered in greenery, there is theming everywhere, and
there are great little hands on things to mess with that are so much fun
Bond and Travis felt their pull and ended up making a little music with
them.
Next stop is the Hollyhock & Roll. This coaster is the only
coaster at Kentucky Kingdom that Bond has already been on.
Back when Bond was three or four he took the Rollerskater, as it was
known as before the 2025 season, for a ride. He didn't
really care for it then but thankfully in the decades since his last
visit he decided he likes coasters now.
While I have not always been the biggest fan of coasters by Vekoma
back until about a decade ago I'd have said that their kid sized
Rollerskater coasters like the Hollyhock & Roll were the best of their
coaster designs. Thankfully as I'll observe later in this trip at
Dollywood while riding Big Bear Mountain they really have come around to
being one of the best coaster manufacturers in the world.
