Discovery Meadow also has some great non-coaster rides like the Treetop Drop.  I'm a huge fan of drop rides by Larson International like this one as when you are pulled to the top the car doesn't stop and wait a few before dropping you.  Treetop Drop just pulls you slowly higher and higher then BAM all of of a sudden you plummet.  It is certainly good for a nice shot of adrenaline.



The Spring Fling is a Flying Dutchmen type ride that was produced by Intamin.  There really aren't many of these fun rides around anymore.  Kentucky Kingdom and Worlds of Fun may be the only two of them in North America.  Both of them are always good to take for a ride.



Again I'm a big fan of what Herschend is doing to this park. 



Little games like this where guests can use their phones to follow clues around the park to get a prize are simple and really great ways to give guests something fun and memorable to do.



Since my last visit early last year Kentucky Kingdom finally got the play equipment for their new Happy Hollow kids play area.
