Having been on both of the Paramount Park copies Bond really wasn't
expecting much from Wilderness Run. Wanting to get his
honest uninfluenced opinion of Wilderness Run I kept my thoughts of the
ride to myself as we boarded, climbed to the top of the lift,
plummeted into the first hundred and eighty degree turn, and then...
...rocketed over the first airtime hill and were ejected into our lap
bars WHILE being thrown to the side of the train.
To say that the intensity of Wilderness Run surprised Bond would be an
understatement. There were a few choice expletives the came out of
the boy as we rocketed around Wilderness Run's course.
If you like coasters fast and filled with airtime Thunder Run is for
you.
Wilderness Run was the first of several surprises for Bond during
our visit to Kentucky Kingdom. He LOVED Wilderness Run.
