The light, sound, and motion of the ride just pulls you in.

The life that this brings back to Six Flags St. Louis is wonderful.

Going back to my talk earlier about the attitude of Danny and the
rest of the managers at Six Flags St. Louis, I was told that many
times during the project of refurbishing this carousel they could
have taken the quick and easy path which would have opened it sooner
but it wouldn't be the BEST version of the Grand Ole' Carousel.
They want the BEST version of Six Flags St. Louis. Like the
work on the Grand Ole' Carousel it is going to take longer, probably
longer than expected but this is their goal for the park.

As the park closed those attending were given the last ride of the
night on the Grand Ole' Carousel. Seeing this magical ride all
lit up was certainly a great way to kick off two hours of exclusive
ride time.

This year the decision to move our exclusive ride time from the
Eagle and Boss to Mr. Freeze and American Thunder was a good one.
It turns out the gears for the Screamin' Eagle broke and it was down
for the event as the park was waiting for a part.
