While I have no way to get into John Allen's head to see how
he designed one has to wonder how much he walked the land and just
let the site dictate his design.
Coming off of the Eagle's turnaround once again the drop is worked
into the terrain.
By the way this is my favorite moment on the entire ride. If
you are sitting in the second to last row about half the way down
this drop there is a sudden unexpected moment of ejection seat
airtime that just rocks. You feel it in the other seats but it
is the most intense in the second to last seat.
After walking all the way around the Screamin' Eagle we had to head
back the same way we came which opened up more opportunities for
photos. Six Flags St. Louis is always awesome with giving us
behind the scenes tours during Daredevil Daze Making it a highlight
of the day.
This year's Daredevil Daze was during Six Flags annual Fright Fest
event so a few of the horrors that roam the park after dark decided
to pay is a visit during our lunch.
We had trolls, monsters, and this funky bird thing messing with all
of us as we ate.
