What I was most looking forward to during this visit, besides visiting one of my favorite parks and riding coasters, was getting a peek at the construction for Silver Dollar City's new for 2027 attraction.

Peeking over the wall with my camera on the path next to the waterfall that's behind the Lumber Camp gave this view.  To the right is the concrete work for the waterfall.  As you can see with a retaining wall built between it and the construction the waterfall isn't going anywhere.



 Looking around there are footers all over between Powder Keg, The American Plunge, and Wildfire.



There are some massive footers like the square one to the center right on this picture and then are smaller round footers all over the site.



Moving along the midway towards Wildfire where I saw a retention pond that was connected to the American Plunge the footers have all been surrounded by rock work....



...and a walkway that is surrounded by rockwork and some landscaping.  Maybe this will connect to the dead end over by Powder Keg or will it lead to something else, like a station.
