It was no surprise that the Firefighter Band was out entertaining everyone in the lead up to the rides official opening.



 Everyone was there including "Lucky" the fire dog.



After a few words from Brad Thomas and a explosion of confetti Fire in the Hole was open.



Silver Dollar City had some of the local firefighters and emergency personnel on hand be the first to ride Fire in the Hole after the official opening.  This is only fitting as the final train on the original Fire in the Hole had the first two firefighters to show up at Silver Dollar City when there was a fire a few years ago.



From that point on everyone in attendance headed into the queue to try Fire in the Hole out for themselves.
