Fire in the Hole at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

Speaking of the Warden I of course took some time to go take a look at his operation at the Flooded Mine.

Like Fire in the Hole the Flooded Mine at Silver Dollar City is a large  part of the parks classic charm.

This "Ozarks Voltage Tree" is a perfect example of how Silver Dollar City thinks the story through.  The problem is that guests need to power up their phones but how to accomplish that modern service to the parks guests while keeping the 1880's theming?  To solve it they just added some wonderfully themed chargers and attached the silly name of the "Ozarks Voltage Tree" and the problem is solved and guests get a little chuckle.

The final day of Fire in the Hole at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

My final ride of the two days at Silver Dollar City was the amazingly fun Time Traveller.  You have to love a coaster that plunged you out of the station straight down while slowly spinning through loops and launches.  Time Traveler always keeps you guessing.

And with that it was time to leave one of my favorite parks  and head back to the real world.  Silver Dollar City is one of my favorite places on the planet.  If you haven't visited it you should.
