Being in an area rich with limestone it's no surprise that Fire in the
Hole's trains are covered with deposits of lime from splashing down over
and over.
Here is a close-up of the wheel assemblies for Fire in the Hole's
trains.
This is what the wheel assemblies look from the front. Above these
at the front of the train there is a plow attached to the train to help
with the splashdown finale.
The plow at the front is there to push the water out to the side of the
train instead of causing a tidal wave that would soak riders.
This is the simple locking mechanism that is on the back of each car
that allows for the restraints to be locked and released.
