If you want a little bit of history take the Charlie Brown's
Rushing River Log Ride for a spin. This classic Arrow Dynamics
designed Log Flume opened at Kings Island's predecessor, Coney Island in
1968 where it ran until 1970 when that park opened. It did not
open with Kings Island in 1971 but was the big addition for the 1972
season. It has had numerous names and themes throughout the years
but it is still a classic Arrow log flume.
Our next stop was in the back of Camp Snoopy where Kings Island's newest
coaster resides.
Behind the Woodstock's Air Rail family inverted coaster is Snoopy's Soap
Box Racers.
Snoopy's Soap Box Racers is a family boomerang coaster that was designed
by Vekoma who also made Woodstock's Air Rail.
Being a "family boomerang" there are no loops or head banging like on
Vekoma's old school boomerang coasters. Snoopy's Soap Box Racers
is a fun little coaster for pretty much everyone.
