As you can see by all of the streaming hair this is one of Wind
Chaser's big airtime moments.
While I was not a fan of Ed Heart's leadership at Kentucky Kingdom one
of the things I liked about his tenure was that he added Wind Chaser and
Lightning Run. With Herschend appearing to focus on turning
Kentucky Kingdom into a family park, instead of a big thrill park I
can't see them adding any coasters that push the limits like these two
Ed heart additions.
For a while Bond and Travis headed into the Hurricane Bay Water Park so
I camped out at a few coasters including Wind Chaser. Last year I
stuck to the back seat; which is amazing, but this year I wanted to
experience Wind Chaser from the front to the back.
What I discovered was that the airtime in the front of Wind Chaser is
WAY more intense than in the back seat.
If extreme airtime is your thing make sure to head to the front and be
sure to hold on.
