Another perfectly positioned ride is Indiana Beach's classic Yo-Yo ride.



For decades this classic swing ride sat on this platform out in the lake.  During the various ownership changes between the parks original owners and the current ones it was moved on land and really lost its magic.



Yo-Yo's are such funky rides as once they get up to height and speed they tilt riders forwards and back which can be a bit unnerving.



Of course swinging around with the lake beneath your feet makes it even more fun.



From my first visit back in the late 1970's to today a ride on the Yo-Yo has been one of those quintessential Indiana Beach experiences.
