Having to go to Atlanta for a day I worked in a few hours to stop by Fun
Spot America Atlanta for a really good reason.

That really good reason was ArieForce One.
This wasn't my first visit to this little park about twenty miles south
of Downtown Atlanta. Dixieland Fun Park started out in 1990 as a
really nice family entertainment center with a few rides, go karts,
batting cages, laser tag, and an arcade.
Back in 2011 we stopped
by the then Dixieland Fun Park for a evening of fun while on a trip
through the area for a fun evening that included the parks sole
rollercoaster; the Hurricane.
Since that visit there have been quite a few changes to Dixieland Fun
Park as it was renamed to Fun Junction USA in 2012 before being
purchased by the Fun Spot America parks out of Orlando in 2018 where it
was rebranded as Fun Spot America Atlanta.

Fun Spot America made a name for themselves with their Orlando and
Kissimmee parks in Florida that feature free admission, a clean and
family friendly atmosphere, and coasters that are a lot closer to what
you'd find in a big theme park rather than a small amusement park.

The Fun Spot America chain was founded by John Arie Sr. He has had
a fascination with flight since childhood. When it was decided to
add a star attraction to Fun Spot America Atlanta they decided to theme
the new attraction to flight. Thus ArieForce one was born.

Even though most of Fun Spot America Atlanta really isn't themed it was
pretty obvious as you work your way through ArieForce One's queue they
had a lot of fun theming it up.
