There is lots of airtime to be had as Thunder Striker speeds through the rides 5,316 feet of track.

After the first drop Thunder Striker has seven airtime hills.  According to Carowinds marketing they had seven airtime hills on the ride to represent Dale Earnhardt's seven NASCAR championship wins.

It is always amusing seeing what marketing comes up with to promote their rides.  It is like when Six Flags Over Georgia's marketing department back in the 1970's claimed that Mindbender had three "loops" when they counted a helix as a loop to make the ride sound more impressive.

No matter what Thunder Striker is a great ride.

Thunder Striker is certainly a ride you can ride over and over again.
