The ride that I was most looking forward to experiencing again at Carowinds was Afterburn. From memory this Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster is really top tier.



Unfortunately, it didn't run at all so I was sad.  At least Copperhead Strike, Fury 325, and Thunder Striker were there to console me.



Shoot-em-up dark rides are a guilty pleasure so we took Boo Blasters on Boo Hill for a spin.  Sally Dark Rides really made a winner with this one.



As one of Carowinds many owners was Cedar Fair it is appropriate to expect to find a Mondial Windseeker ride here.  These are always fun and normally not much of a line due to their high capacity.



Outside of Aeronautica landing the Crossroads section of Carowinds is my second favorite themed area due to all of the trees and how tranquil it is.
