Have you ever played the game Rollercoaster Tycoon?  You can build tower rides like Stratosfear and if you want to kill your guests just crank up the launch speed and the car will fly right off of the top of the ride and explode.  Well all of the other rides like this that I've seen have a top to the tower so you don't feel like you can shoot off just like in the game.  Not Stratosfear,  and with Todd being a total wimp where it comes to drop rides no top on this one had him really freaked out.



Of course being his good buddies we dragged him on the ride anyway.  Stratosfear was a great ride and if you're facing the right way it gives a really amazing view of the park.



Right next to Stratosfear is Alabama Adventure's newest ride Buzzsaw Falls.  How new you ask?  Well it was having it's media day while we were there.  I have a hard time getting excited about shoot the chute rides like this because I hate getting soaked to the bone while fully clothed but with the Alabama heat I can see this ride attracting guests and having one long line.



Speaking of the game Rollercoaster Tycoon, Alabama Adventure feels like a scenario from the game brought to life.  I mean you have this wonderful wooded valley with paths all over it and there are these standard rides like this Music Express just scattered all throughout it.  I felt like "Guest 438".
