I had to take a second picture not only due to Patriot's really cool logo but the station fly-over just looks great.  You do get a nice bit of airtime there which is fun and kind of unexpected on an inverted coaster.

With graceful and beautiful twists of steel like this I don't understand why coasters are not looked upon as works of art comparable to those by Picasso, Van Gough or Michelangelo.

I like it when parks take their theme for a ride and really work it into everything including insignificant things like wheel covers.  It just shows pride in their park as well as in their ride.

Patriot's one hundred and forty-nine foot tall lift hill actually sits on one of the high points using a little of the topography to give it a little extra speed throughout the ride's course.
