Yeah I'd like to see Disney build some bigger coasters with more thrills but the thing that really sets them apart from almost everyone (Dollywood and Silver Dollar City come in a close second) is that they theme the entire ride and attraction experience so that it's easy for the guest to leave reality behind and feel like they are really in the Southwest on an out of control mine train.

There's no corner of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad that's not themed to the hilt even the insides of the tunnels.

You can get some great views of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad from Tom Sawyer's Island and from the Liberty Belle Riverboat as it steams by on the Rivers of America.

Winter sucks because Bond and I don't get that release that coasters bring from all the stress and junk that comes with life and for coaster-less months and it all just compounds and compounds making winter just too stressful.

Needless to say after our first ride on Big Thunder Mountain we had weights removed from our shoulders, I'm certain my blood pressure dropped by 5% and all was good in the world.  That's what a good ride on a good coaster with each other or our friends does to us.
