This has been a strange year.  After opening weekend it took Bond and I until the end of July to make it back down to Six Flags St. Louis to take the newly reversed Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast for a spin.  Unfortunately in order to take in the new Freeze we had to brave a drive through a part of Six Flags St. Louis' parking lot that looks like they use it to test missiles in the off season.  I have an all wheel drive van and even with that I feared bottoming out on a rock pile.  Just add this to the long list of things that Six Flags corporate needs to pony up the budget to fix at this park.

The big new thing for 2012 is an old thing with a new twist...an 180 degree twist as they turned Mr. Freeze's trains around to create the newly christened Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast.

Instead of facing forward as you launch from a stand still to seventy miles per hour the trains have been turned around you are pulled backwards out of the station.

Shooting up away from the ground is really fun.
