Opening Day 2018 at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

Of course most people aren't going to notice the new shops as they are going to be barreling to Silver Dollar City's big new attraction Time Traveler.

Bond and I skipped Time Traveler and headed down Thunderation's new entrance as 99% of the people in the park were lined up waiting for Time Traveler. For us that means it is time to go enjoy another ride...one without a massive line.

For now before the trees all leaf out you can get a little view of Time Traveler's finale from Thunderation's queue.

Thunderation is the best mine train coaster out there in my opinion with its hillside location, terrain hugging layout, intensity and lift hill three quarters of the way through the ride throwing you all for a curve.

I do expect that Thunderation will have quite the jump in ridership this year with Time Traveler next door.
