Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Santa Claus, Indiana 2006 Construction Update September 5, 2005 Page Two
All of the huge drainage pipes that were in the field between the employee parking lot and the highway last week have been put into the culvert by the Bahari River site and have already been covered up. Speaking of Bahari River there has been a lot of clearing going on at it's huge site between Bahari and The Wave. Looking back into there you can see clumps of trees that are still standing. I hope part of the area is left wild not only for the shade during the hot summer months but I'd love to float around through a forest.
That's all for now. For the next three weekends Holiday World is closed for private company buy-outs so I will not have any in park photos for updates. That is unless someone from any of those companies happens to have a spare ticket. Those weeks are probably the only frustrating part of living here because the rides are up and running but I can't go and get a ride. If I do see anything interesting from outside of the park between now and October I'll put them up. Otherwise look for a bunch of up close construction photos in early October as I will be attending the Coasterbuzz Fall Affair and going on a construction tour that day.
