2006 Construction Update
April 15, 2006
Page Two
Things are still progressing
over at the Plymouth Rock Cafe site where we might either have gravel
or some cement poured. It's a little tough to tell which from
a couple of hundred yards away on the side of the highway.
The Voyage just looks fantastic
with the leaves just starting to come out. I can just imagine
flying through all of that green it in just twenty days.
While I was taking the wide photo
of The Voyage and Thanksgiving Carrie pointed behind me to the Freedom
Train which was circling the track. Yes my heart skipped a beat
with the realization that no more are there months to go before opening
instead we've got just a few weeks to go. That reminds me I need
to get our season passes.
Another sure sign that spring is
here and opening is around the corner is when the elusive park tram
comes out of hibernation. At some point next we'll start seeing
the orange trash cans migrate out into the parking lots and both The
Raven and Legend will bloom with flags a top of their lift hills.
I love spring.
According to the
Holiblog
The Voyage's trains should be arriving in the near future and after
that they'll start testing it. If I get a chance and catch either
of those events I'll be sure to grab some photos of them.
Otherwise check back next week for more.
That's all for this week.
Check back next week and I'll have another serving of construction pictures.
