The Comet Rollercoaster at Hersheypark, Hershey, Pennsylvania

The Comet's eighty-five foot tall lift hill may not seem that impressive anymore with Skyrush's two-hundred foot tall lift hill straddling the venerable ride.

Don't let The Comet's diminutive size fool you as it packs a punch.

The Comet starts out with an initial plunge down over and across Spring Creek.

I expected The Comet to be fun; which it was, but it also blew me away as to how smooth it was.  Thinking back I cant seem to remember any rough spots along the rides 3,360 feet of track.

On the far side of Spring Creek after climbing up and turning around The Comet dives back down and crosses the creek again as it works its way around around The Comet's "T" shaped double out and back layout.
