Oak Grove Park Scenario

Post by ahoffman50 » Tue Oct 02, 2007 9:53 pm

I created a scenario today. Mainly the purpose was to showcase the roller coaster. Please share screenshots of what you do with it. I would love to see them.

I would love to see your own theme park but it looks like I've got a notice that says as I can't zip that data into my RCT folder. Too bad I can't see it. :(

It took me a little bit to understand how to use downloaded scenarios. So here are the instructions.

1. Download the zipped folder. It does not matter to which folder it is downloaded. Make sure you can find it once it has finished downloading.

2. Locate the zipped folder you downloaded

3. Extract the .dat file from the compressed folder. Once again, it does not matter where you extract the .dat file; just be sure you can find it.

4. Move the .dat file to the RCT3\Parks folder in My documents.

5. Open RCT3 and click on Play>Custom Scenario>(the name of the scenario)

I hope this helps!

Can we alter the rollercoaster or just the scenery? :)

I will have a go at altering some parts of roller coaster tracks or custom scenery stuffs so I can make them more 'creative'. :)

First of all I like your coaster, ahoffman50! Although my first feeling was "this could be more intense", it was fun to ride. Here's my track:

And here are the stats:

Can I add some of my creations so I can give you some ideas? If so, I would love to add my super twisty woodie with tons of head choppers, plus tons of tree to make the ride look so beautiful. :)

I'm just wondering if you want us to post the tracks as well, Andy? Then you can have a better look at them. :)

How about this one? This is an intense woodie with tons of wicked airtime, that will have you feel kind of dizzy but will find it so fun. Sorry it gives you pretty strong lateral g's as the ride is in a sharp turn. :(

I love your ride! Good fun for little money. I love how you've got 3 tiers of bunny hops all around the ride and so tightly packed in. I think the unbanked turns are a great idea as the riders really get whipped around at the ends! :D
