Linux

So I downloaded Ubuntu yesterday using wubi, just to see what it's like. Anybody on here using Linux? I've been curious for a while about Linux and wanted to see what it's like.

Never messed with it but I know IndianaJoe uses it. We could ask him but since returning to the states he's not had internet which is a bummer.

I do know he loved it. At some point I'll try a new os (probably Mac as I love my iphone) but it's kind of hard taking the plunge after using dos/windows from the start back in the early 80's.

I figured that I should know it, even if just a little bit, considering I'll be done with college in the spring and will be looking for some sort of tech job. So far it looks a little like the Mac OS with the workspaces and the launcher.
