Yeah, would be useful for accidental double posts.

Sorry miss mental (rose), but I still don't see the delete post button. Or the IP button. Those are probably only for you and Paul.

Hmm. You should be able to see at least the delete button, actually. I set it up that way. I'll have to look into it and see what software fart is messing up my configuration after I send Bond to school. :-)

I have gone into the configuration, checked and doublechecked. Everyone who is registered should be able to see a "del" button in the upper right hand corner of their posts at this point. If you're not logged in, you won't see it, as only registered people are allowed to delete posts.

Nope, no good. Just edit and quote, and I'm logged in.

That's extremely odd. I've checked the settings, and registered users should be able to see the delete button. I'm going to make a test account later and see if I can see it. If I can't, I;ll be making a visit to the PHPBB support boards and see if they ahve any suggestions, because Im' totally confused on this one!

I'm working on it. The delete button is something you guys should have already had. We'll get it up and running eventually. :-)

I'm seeing a Del button on a post I JUST made, but my previous ones don't have it.

They may not, because as far as the board is concerned they were posted before you had permission to have a delete button (don't ask me why, I still haven't figured that one out). I'm still not sure what reset those permissions on me, either. However, your posts from here on out should all have the del button. I'm just glad to know the button is showing up for you guys now! :-)
