Things are a little different here at The Negative-G Forums than at most other coaster forums.
First and foremost you are not customers. This is not a business and this is not a job for me. This is what I do for fun. Everyone here are friends and family (as I have said before I have 3 families...my biological one, the one I married and then my coaster family) and that's the way everyone is to be treated.
Yes there are not a billion posts a day here, or even weekly. Yeah it'd be cool for more of a conversation but sometimes when it looks dead we're all busy talking to each other in the bi-weekly chats, Facebook, cell phones and email. Now yeah I'd love to see a billion posts here when I check it after a day of work but hey I'm happy that we have a great group of people who take the time to spend with each other weekly chatting, taking trips with each other and riding until the parks kick us out.
Clique's suck. This is not a site where there's the "in crowd" and then rest of you. There is no popularity contest here. Everyone is welcome and if you're new we'll all make you feel right at home. Just join us in chat to see.
We do tons of stuff together. Yeah there's the big yearly -G Road Trip but folks here get together with or without me setting up any event or even being there. For example at this year's ACE Con at Dollywood there will be a big -G Cabin overlooking the park filled with 18 folks who met here having a great time together (I really wish I could go). Each year we almost take over the annual Daredevil Daze enthusiast event at SFStL as about half of the attendees are folks from the forum. We also are talking about doing a little end of the summer trip to Worlds of Fun and Waterboy and I are going to jump out of a plane this fall in celebration of his 50th and my 40th b-days and anyone is welcome to join in.
Chat is HUGE here. Yeah I mentioned it earlier but we get together on Sunday and Wednesday night's at 8 central to talk about pretty much everything. We chat coasters, parks, trips, movies, music, games and heck once we discussed David Bowie's codpiece in the movie Labyrinth (Thank you Hikaru and Andy for that one

In the end the Negative-G Forums are kind of the like the bar portrayed on the TV show "Cheers". We all have a good time. We all know each other by name and if you're new we'll just call you "Norm" until we know you.
