I have seen it done but how I'm not really sure. I think people make trenches, put a tunnel through it and then put a 3ds object over it to make it look like it is actually underground.

But to do it I have no clue. Hopefully in NL 2.0 it'll be easier to do.

Yeah one, as Paul said, is called a Terrain-Tunnel patch - and that is where you make a 3ds tunnel, with a top surface that is the same texture as the rest of the grass. Getting the shape is kind of difficult to match to your coaster's terrain. But BY FAR the hardest part is the scale of the texture. Even if you use the exact same image for your normal grass texture, and the tunnel texture - it will probably not be the same scale - and it will be obvious.

Another way is to just have the tunnel to go into the ground. You end up going through the terrain on the entry and exit - but its not that big of a deal. Usually they won't rate off for it - it seems.

When No Limits 2 is available, you will be able to make the track tunnel under the ground and even through water. I don't think No Limits 2 will be ready this year, 2011. Probably in 2012. Just my guess. But I wish it would come out this year.

Same here. Oh Trackwalker welcome to the -G Forums.

If you want to upload attachments you need to zip up the track file and then select the file in the Upload Attachments and then click "add attachments". You can upload zip files and jpeg files for screenshots.
