Adventureland Coaster Project

Post by Spencerman » Fri Mar 22, 2013 10:25 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew how to take a picture of Google Earth and to put it on the ground of Nolimits. I was planning on making a coaster for Adventureland but I want to add the picture. Help anyone?

Never done this but my guess is you'd have to figure out how to get it at the right scale then from there I'm clueless. Email Ole from No Limits (his email in on the no limits coaster site...I think it is nolimitscoaster.de) and see if he knows how to. He is a pretty cool guy and does respond to emails.

Alright. I may do that later unless I find something somewhere else. Also how do I put up Nolimits screenshots?

There is a button to snap a screenshot that saves then onto a screenshot directory of where you have No Limits installed. From there you use the attachments part of posting on the forum and the picture will show up. Although you might want to scale down the images width so it fits people's screens...maybe 800 pixels wide but you can use an image editor to do that before posting it.

Here is the layout so far. It has a height of 86 feet. I wanted to make a new thrill ride at Adventureland, but nothing taller than the Tornado. Is the height ok? I know most, if not all are 100+ feet.
It's called the Buzzard to fit with the whole Outlaw type theme. I'm really excited about this ride.

Ok I have been working on this and I just got it finished. How does it look? (I am not that good at NoLimits, as you can probably tell.) I didn't want to make this ride that tall so it wouldn't make the Tornado small in comparison. However this ride is very slow and I may make it a few feet taller. I will keep tweeking it.

It's a little bit short but what you have looks fine. Zip up the track and post it here as an attachment so others can ride it in game as well.

Have Fun
