SFSL Fright Fest

Enthusiast coaster & amusement park chatter about whatever. If it's not about coasters & parks, it'll go to the garbage file. Keep it on-topic and flame-retardant, please.

SFSL Fright Fest

Post by Greg » Sat Oct 03, 2015 8:28 am

Hi friends, Last night the boys and I paid $20 each for slasher passes that allow unlimited haunts for the night. The park was dead, no lines for rides or haunts. We tried all six haunts, two of them twice. As I expected, they were not at all scary for me. Ryder, my six year old, loved them and experienced just the right amount of fear. Rohan, 11, can't wait to do them again. If not for my kids, I would never pay for them as to me they are not worth it, but as a family I know this will now be a yearly tradition and I can't wait to do it again.

Our family ranking of the haunts is:
1 Blind Fury
2 Insanity Alley
3 Slaughter House
4 Camp Killamore
5 Voided Vision (I think that was the name)
6 Hay ride was vey lame. The only cool part was touring the vast amount of land in the bone yard and seeing a new view of the Eagle's first turnaround.

If you go, I hope you have a great time.
Greg

I have a hard time paying for haunts after going to WOF but at least SFSTL is doing more than the thriller dances in the front of the park. We will be down there in a few weeks to check it all out. Might not do the haunts as coasters will be calling us.

Are the haunts included with park admission at WOF Paul?

Yes they are...if you want to skip the line and see a few extra scare zones you can buy a skeleton key.
