(loud voice)
Seriously? Are we really going to get this geeked up over a set of trains for a glorified kiddie coaster?
I mean, REALLY? A live freaking stream? AYFKM?

(whispering)
OK, look, I gotta work tomorrow, too. I'm with Vonni, somebody post some pics here, I'm pretty sure I can see them on my phone.

Okay, the revelation is at 28:23. I don't know if you will have this issue, but it kept freezing for me at that time. I mean, perfect footage through the speeches, and yet it decides to freeze during to most important part.

The trains look cool, but nothing unexpected.

EDIT: Or you could just look on Facebook.

Hummm...that reminds me my Mom keeps talking about a trip to Dollywood. I need to get that set up for next year.

We're doing a week in the Ozarks next June. I'm wondering if I should drive to Branson and do SDC or fly to Tenn and do Dollywood.

I like both parks... but I could probably do SDC on a weekend again sometime next year and I haven't been to DW since Wild Eagle opened, AND there's that Alpine Coaster just down the road.

Part of the reason for the Branson trip, though, was to take my little MINI Cooper roadster on the twisty mountain roads between here and there, though. Decisions, decisions....

Construction is definitely on the way at Dollywood. I'm surprised it isn't further along than it is even, but I'm sure they'll get there.

One of the very cool things I think is how they are using the towers from Adventure Mountain as a part of the ride experience. It's quite exciting.

Also, just to put to bed a rumor - NO, Blazing Fury is not going anywhere. I've heard a lot of people think that because they have another fire-themed coaster that they're taking it out. They are not. Quite the contrary - they have been putting quite a bit of money into updating the ride in recent years. Nothing major at a time, but they have been working on it. The splashdown was taken out to try to conserve the ride and the trains. The trains electric was updated that year as well. Before last year, they updated the electric along the track (at least a lot of it) and tried to work out some of the kinks with the new braking system. Over this past off-season, they got a whole new control panel and rebuilt the dispatch area. This season from what I've been told, the electrical system's wiring is getting completely redone. It's slowly being updated a little at a time, so don't worry about it going anywhere. :)

Good to hear because even without the splashdown Blazing Fury is a blast.

I love the Fury. I miss working it, and still hold it close to my heart.
