SFGAdv 2015 rumor

Enthusiast coaster & amusement park chatter about whatever. If it's not about coasters & parks, it'll go to the garbage file. Keep it on-topic and flame-retardant, please.

SFGAdv 2015 rumor

Post by Vonni » Fri Sep 20, 2013 12:01 am

According to Screamscape, SFGAdv may possibly recieve an RMC for 2015 to replace Rolling Thunder. Granted RMC designs amazingly awesome coasters, I would prefer to see a GCI brought in. I feel it would be the best replacement for the Rolling Thunder void, and with the space available it could be pretty epic. Thoughts?

There's no way they're putting a big wooden coaster right next to Toro. Just my 2 cents.

I wouldnt mind seeing something on the other side of the park. It needs some life over there.

Getting an RMC coaster "to replace Rolling Thunder" doesn't necessarily mean that it will go in the same location.
They have that all-important queue line there now, remember?

the ACE convention will be there in 2015. I was wondering how they talked ACE into going back to the east coast so soon after the SFNE Con this year. I'm guessing they promised a big new ride would be on the ticket.

You know whats funny is that you look from google maps and there is enough room to squeeze a pathway between the two rides enough to drive a car through maybe a little wider, there was never a need to remove the coaster. You know how cool it would be to walk by three coaster running at once (counting rolling thunders second side) put a couple of park benches there and that becomes nerd heaven haha

That is the exact same thing I said! So many enthusiasts say there is not enough room for a path between Kingda Ka and Rolling Thunder when there actually is ample room! I thought it would be cool to be up so close to the Coasters as well, but never the less, Rolling Thunder is done for lol! So lets just hope its void is filled with something spectacular!

;) I thought you might like that Paul! So, what do you want to fill the "void" left by our beloved Boomerang?
