The Lincoln Park COMET!! I've ridden it a few years before it was SBNO! :)

Pinkfloydfanatic is correct! Nice job! I never got to ride it, except virtually, thanks to Paul. But I have walked a great deal of the lower trackwork on several occasions.

Daaaamn. I didn't know the lift hill had collapsed like that. Sadly the coaster was beyond saving even before that; back in 1999 the footers were in a few feet of standing water (completely covering the bottom of the first drop.)

The coaster derailed on the brake run after the very last ride it ever had; rather than retrieve it the park just pushed it sideways off the track onto the ground below. The train was still there when I visited in 99 and 2000, and the second NAD Century Flyer train was on the transfer track in the station. It was really sad to see then, it looks heartbreaking now.

Ouch! Look at picture 11, how'd ya like to drop into a tree like that?... of course its not any worse than being dragged through a collapsed section of track (pic no. 4)
