HWN and BBB

Post by Sora » Fri Apr 19, 2013 4:33 am

Kat and Nick are dragging me, kicking and screaming, to HoliWood Nights and Beech Bend Bash this year. Will anybody be joining us? Apart from Andy, of course...

I said I'd go when you threatened me with the taser. Why did you have to pull a gun on me?

The fam and I will prob be going to BBB as we usually get a lot of bang for our buck. I mean seriously, last year I won the Price Is Right and walked out with like 80 bucks in toys and crap, mostly crap but it was free so no complaints! :)

It's a small family-owned park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. They have a fun GCI, Kentucky Rumbler, a spinning wild mouse, a small kiddie coaster, and quite a variety of flat rides. The water park, Splash Lagoon, is also a lot of fun. It also has a raceway and campground joined.

Charlotte G. their PR lady is wonderful and she loves ACE. Also Bowling Green is where Paul Blick lives so they have a great relationship. YOu will get three good meals and tons and tons of free stuff. Also they turn up the volume on the wave pool. It normally is set at 6-7 and they have it on 10 for us. Giant waves that flow into the lazy river so you have these awesome waves in the river. I have never had a bad experience there. PLease be sure to bring a hat as there is not alot of shade. Brian

Charlotte isn't just a PR person. She's the general manager, and the daughter of Dallas Jones, owner, thus making her part owner as well.

Charlotte is just all-around amazing. She always makes sure we have the best time you can imagine, even when things don't always go right. Beech Bend is under 2 hours from Holiday World and Beech Bend Bash is the Sunday after HWN, so if you are able to take an extra day and do the event, I highly recommend that you do. It's usually my favorite event of the year, making that weekend one of the best you could possibly imagine!
