Elijah's Chariot

Post by Sora » Fri Dec 07, 2012 4:22 am

So I was bumbling around trying to find info on backyard coasters, and found various references to a coaster called Elijah's Chariot. You've probably all heard of it, but photos were hard to come by until I found an old thread from 2005 on pointbuzz. It looks like it was a fun little ride, and it even had articulated wheels:

Here's the thread the link was from, in which one of the builders answers a few questions about it:

That's a pretty sweet homebrew coaster. I have enough space to build a huge one but unfortunately Carrie has banned coasters from our property. :-(

Have Fun

Bond and I intend on going and maybe we'll drag Carrie along with bribes of Biaggi's and Charlie's Mongolian Bar-B-Que.

You'll get plenty of rides as folks don't stay for all of ERT unlike we do so for the last hour or so it'll be get off...walk around...ride again...repeat.

Have Fun

Copying a previous post made by someone else (above) is an almost sure sign of a spammer.....

This ride looks like it is in public. That would be cool to go to a park and ride a coaster.
By the way what does homebrew mean?

It looks fun! I would love to ride it! Those seats seem to be comfortable.
