Free Hotel for up to 7 Nights, Where would you go?

Enthusiast coaster & amusement park chatter about whatever. If it's not about coasters & parks, it'll go to the garbage file. Keep it on-topic and flame-retardant, please.

Free Hotel for up to 7 Nights, Where would you go?

Post by Loopy » Fri Jan 30, 2009 1:57 pm

If you could book up to 7 nights for free in any hotel, where would you book?

Be realistic and keep in mind that you would need to pay all of the costs associated with that vacation (flight, meals, ect).

Reason I ask, is because next week, lastminutetravel.com is offering bookings for up to 7 nights for a dollar a night (what a great promo!)

The catch? The 1 dollar rooms are only available for 15 minutes a day, and you don't know when those 15 minutes occur!

So my job during the day is in front of a computer, and I have been monitoring at home as well, and I have gotten REAL close to booking a room, but no dice so far. My plan was 4 nights in Branson, but I started thinking that four nights might be excessive for a place like branson. idk.

Anyway, give me your thoughts and if you would like, I have some insider tips on catching the sale...:)

Hummm, well Carrie's in the background saying "Hawaii" but for a coaster trip, especially this time of the year I'd probably go for LA as I'd love to hit Knotts and Belmont again. In addition to that there are coasters at SFMM that I have yet to ride and there are a ton of little parks like Scandia, Pacific park, Castle Park and Adventure City that I'd like to hit. Plus there are a bunch of other non park things to do in LA like freak watching. :D

Have Fun

Sounds like a sweet chance to see a LOT of Hollywood thingies as well, like going to see the beautiful place as 'Hall of Fame' where you can have a look at many artists' hands on the alley. Yeah, non coaster things can even thrill you a LOT, because they are part of fun. : )

Oh I don't ever think as there has got a plenty of biggie coasters to have some fun, these days, LOL. I must have been able to see like I could apparently go on Manhattan Express, Speed The Ride, Desperado, and a wicked 'Insanity' if I was up there.

Holy Cow, I actually just won this promotion!

I set up an alarm on my computer and it kept refreshing the page, woke me up at about 3:30 am cst. Its REALLY hard to get in all of the information fast enough. Its about 5 minutes, and they play some flash movies that take up about 2 minutes...

I booked Las Vegas for 5 nights new years next year. The hotels are "undercover" so I took a stab at a hotel, turned out to be the Hard Rock....

So Cool! My adrenaline is pumping! :D

Just remember when going to Vegas the rule is (garnered from watching many mob movies like Godfather 2 and Casino) "The house always wins".

Insanity is what 'U' should go give a try as long as you truly have no fear of dangling in the sky. Just brace yourself since I would say like it's the most terrifying flat ride EVER on planet.
