ACE Midwest 2006 Construction Tour...Anyone Going?

Postby Paul Drabek » Tue Mar 07, 2006 7:55 pm

I was curious if anyone here was going to be heading into Santa Claus in a ocuple of weeks for the ACE Midwest Region's 2006 Off Season Construction Tour of Holiday World & Beech Bend?

Bond and I will be there on Sat for the HW portion of it and Carrie will be joinbing us on Sunday as we head on down to Beech bend.

Have Fun and hopefully we'll see some of you there.

Paul

I would love to go, but ,

1. I am not a member of ACE

2. I can't take time off that fast anymore, my boss doesn't plan ahead and find people to work until the last minute, example: I am taking sunday, no is working for me yet, but I am not working.

A construction tour sounds like something fun to use my new d70s camera.

I'm sure you'll post some nice pictures Paul. I'll live vicariously through you on this one.
Peace!

I am available to go - but don't think I want to put the miles on my car for a construction tour.

Besides there was a little too much tom-foolery at the last construction tour I went to.

All registrations must be recieved by March 3 2006?

DAMNIT!

I read the flyer and was seriously considering it for the HW part, it's afternoon and would be a nice day trip, until I saw that

Don - considering for you, one trip to HW would be a miracle - two an act of God - I would go to HW when the rides are open - not to do a construction tour. You desperately need the credtis... 8)

Well he has been on Screechin Eagle. You've gotta give him that... Probably won't compare to Voyage though.

Was SE properly maintained? The one time I was there it was a bit rough but not PKI woodie rough. To me it was average.

Well all I'll get plenty of pictures of both coasters and get them up as soon as I can afterwards. So live vicariously all you want. Bond might have a few to contribute as well as I'm going to give him my old camera to bring along.

Have Fun

You just better hope you get to go back and actually ride it. Legend seriously owns any wood at PKI.

Are you coming up just for the day or are you going to join us at Beech Bend on Sunday?

Have Fun
