Mantis Closing Oct 19
Mantis is closing at Cedar Point on Oct 19. Rumors are either that it's being refitted with floorless trains or (IMO more likely) being relocated to Dorney Park.
It'd be a nice addition to Dorney, but I'm not that excited about it coming closer, since it was rough when I rode it last year and we already have Green Lantern at SFGAdv (a better B&M standup).
What do you all think?

I think with them "squishing Mantis" it is either getting sit down trains or floorless trains.

I think that if they remove Mantis, it will be changed to a sit down/ floorless anyway. And I can only hope it would be sent to the one place that actually needs it.....

Well, we know now that Michigan's Adventure didn't get Mantis, but honestly, they probably won't get anything too expensive ever since it's such a small base of folks to work with.
But you know what would make people drive to go there? One of those Chance hypercoasters.
I'd be at Michigan's Adventure like 4-5 times a year then if they had one of those beasts at their park. And it would definitely get them some needed attention from the enthusiast community and public.

Yes a Chance Mini Hyper like KK has would really do that park well.

Did Chance sell any more of those? I didn't see anythinga nnounced for one, which is shocking to me, unless KK's really had issues, but I'm sure if that was the case, we'd of heard about that already.

No word but I'd expect to see some start popping up in 2016. Personally I would love to see one built over and along Indiana Beach's Peninsula maybe interacting with the Hurricane? That would be amazing.
