Skyscraper Orlando Coaster

Hey everyone;

Looks like the Polercoaster that was talked about a year or two ago is going to happen. It is going to be in Orlando on International Drive and a video of the ride was released today.

That looks much better than the worlds biggest Chance Toboggan as the previous renderings looked like. I love how it kicks it all off with that reverse banked turn some 540 feet above the ground. Looking at the layout I'm not going to have any loose articles in my pockets while riding that.

2016 is the year!!!

Maybe we do a nice midwinter -G Florida trip. Score Universal, Fun Spot, the Skyscraper and Busch Gardens?? That might be fun.

This ride is going to be Amazing ! I wonder what the hourly capacity will be and how much it'll cost. I was just thinking we need get this in the future trip plans!!!!! That would be great for a Negative - G trip. We could even check into Busch Gardens and if they still have a roller coaster tour like we did at Williamsburg. Maybe we could find some discount tix to Universal, I've never been so that would rock. Definitely like to make that a milestone coaster for me if possible.

Actually, 2017 is the year. Numerous articles got that part wrong.

Time it around IAAPA. All the posts I'm seeing from folks down there this week have been "look, everything's a walk-on!"

Very impressed with this.

I have been in the area during IAAPA and things are not that busy, although it might be difficult for me to make that time of year. Especially since I will have just been down there in Oct for Halloween events

But that's why it's dead at that time...

Everyone goes for Halloween stuff, then everyone goes back for Christmas stuff.

In between, nobody goes. The kids are all in school.

It looks like they are adding the worlds tallest drop ride to the tower as well. Read more here.

It may be the worlds tallest coaster by over 100 feet, but I bet it wont be the most fun. I actually think that these things would be a bit boring, based on what Ive seen so far.

Well the ride may be boring but put a boring coaster up that high and suddenly there is more thrill...just look at the coaster that was on top of the Stratasphere in Vegas.
