TR: Adventureland and WOF Day One

Hey all today Bond and I drove to Adventureland, picked up Dicegods, met up with Spencerman and his Dad, did that park, drove to Kansas City and hit Worlds of Fun for two hours before crashing.

Here is the ride count:

Adventureland
Outlaw: 3
Tornado: 2
Underground: 2
Dragon: 1 -My last ride on it EVER since Bond now has the credit
Splash: 1
Log Fume: 1
Falling Star: 1
Train: 1
Ferris Wheel: 1
Paratrooper: 1
Space Shot: 2
Sky Ride: 2
Magic Show: 1

Had a great time with Spencerman and his Dad and enjoyed a completely empty Adventureland. It was hot but with no humidity it wasn't bad.

Worlds of Fun:
Patriot: 1
Timber Wolf: 1
Mamba: 1
Prowler: 1.

Sadly there were many coasters at WOF running just one train and Timber Wolf beat the crap out of Bond and I. They had sprinklers all over the ride making it a water ride as well. I think they were to keep the wood from drying out and giving even more of it's patented "Intense Ride Jostling".

Cris got his first Patriot ride in the very back at night which was a great way to try it out.

Tomorrow more Worlds of Fun, maybe a FEC in Wichita on our way to Oklahoma City then rest before Frontier City on Sat and SDC on Sunday and Monday.

Have fun!

Paul

I saw the Patriot love on your facebook.

That is SUCH an underrated coaster. I've had nothing but stellar rides on it.

IMHO Patriot and Prowler MAKE that park. Both are top notch world class rides. They just get no love because they are not on the East or West coast.
