Sadly Bond is getting big and with work and adulthood thrown in the mix more and more time to just hop in the car and go to a park is going to get rough. So with his first job starting Monday we decided to hop in the car and go this Thursday. Joining us was the legendary Waterboy and Bonds friend Dalton.

Weather...hot, sunny and not humid at all...basically perfect.

Crowds were ok but mostly the crowds were in the water park with 10 minute waits the most except for Justice League which is always half an hour.

Rides:

Screaming Eagle: 10
Mine train : 2
Superman: 1
Sky Screamer: 2
Fireball: 1
Tsunami Soaker: 1
Spinsanity: 1
Batman: 2
American Thunder: 10
Log Flume: 2
Mr. freeze: 2
Justice League: 1
Pandemonium: 1
Excalibur: 1
The Boss: 2
Shazam: 1

Fourth rides in a day is not bad at all.

Operations were ok with the Eagle and American Thunder ops being worlds better than anyone else in the park. Food kind of sucked with one person out of five at the burrito restaurant and it seemed that the Smokehouse people were a little lost but we eventually got our food.

Cleanliness needed some work. Saw several completely full and overflowing trash cans which was not acceptable.

The park is getting ready for the Mari Gras festival which looks to be a lot of fun. I really like that Six Flags are bringing in special events, and having fun with it.

It also was a little weird seeing NO management around the park at all.

Bond, Brian and Dalton rode the new Spinsanity and were less than impressed. It looks cool but the ride seemed really slow and there was very little spinning. Maybe they have it set on a slow program. It also broke down a bunch with us seeing it broken down four different times.

In the end we had a great time and we are going to come back to check out Madi Gras.

Have fun!

Paul
Life is short....have fun!
