Villain at Geauga Lake

Post by dare-to-fly » Sun Dec 09, 2007 8:48 pm

I tested my phone to see if I could figure out how to e-mail pictures to myself. Since I did a successful transfer, more pictures will follow, but this is my favorite picture that I took of The Villain when I was at Geauga Lake the first time. I sincerely hope that I get to ride it again.

Incedently, if KI had the Villain, it wouldn't have lasted the first season without a trim brake appearing in the flat spot pictured here.

For those who don't recognise it, The Villain is a double out and back, and this is the turnaround closest to the station. After the turn, it goes through this little flat spot, and just when you think everything is okay...airtime city and straight to the ground (at least in the back). That was my favorite part on The Villain and I couldn't ride it without putting my hands up going down off this turnaround.

The Villian was in my top 5. The first and last time I rode it was Saturday September 15 just after sunset. With it being night time the ride was extremly fast. I was in the front seat with my Dad and my and my litttle bro behind me.It will definatly be missed.

RIP. Villian 2000-2007 7yrs.

I loved it from the back seat! The back of the coasters is my world. Either way, 7 years is never long enough for a coaster to last. Villain should still be thrilling the masses for another 150 years at least!

I loved Villian. It's not in my top five because I only got to go on it twice while it was raining and then we left the park so I really didnt get the chance to appreciate it. It had amazing ejector air in the back row and its insane roughness at the bottom of every hill just added to the fun.

The Villain was my #1 woodie and I will miss it.The airtime was amazing and I loved getting pulled immediately fast out of the turnarounds.

I don't still miss Villain though I have never gotten on. We can see that great woodie on POVs, I really love those big airtime hills. 8)
