Yes, there are two vertical lifts. Check out the Mine Facts and you'll see they have 2 listed. I think that the 2 lifts will help with the pacing of the ride. It sounds like a mix of dark ride plus coaster. Most of the big coaster elements are at the end of the ride so you'll probably get a little b...

The thing I'm looking forward to with Firehawk is not the ride (which is a good coaster) is the placement. Flight of Fear is off the beaten path of Kings Island. Yeah, it's right off of Coney Mall but still... it's buried. I think this will brighten up that area back there a bit. I'm also curious ab...

I'll admit it, I'm a Nintendo fan-boy. So far, I've skipped every-other Nintendo system. So, I've had the NES, Nintendo 64, and soon... Wii. (My roommate in college had the Super Nintendo so I didn't miss out on that one, just the GameCube). I am completely stocked for the Wii, it just looks like fu...

It sounds like you'll be there during "Nick or Treat" and "FearFest". During the day, the park is very kid-friendly. At night, it gets a little spooky. I hear that the haunted houses are pretty good but I'm a big chicken so I've never been in them. I'd rather ride coasters at night. :) If you're loo...

Now let's see what the guys over at the Gravity Group have up their sleeves as a little healthy competition is always good. I have to say... that's the best thing about GCI and the Gravity Group. Both are doing very well right now. Competition will only make their rides better. Of course, it's a fr...
