I worked at Kings Island on Vortex + Shake, Rattle and Roll (Troika) though I was trained on like 31 rides. Worked there 2005 and 2006. It was definately the best job I have ever done - but its really well suited for students who can work summer but not during the year. You definately get a differen...

Ok I read on another site that Son of Beast's loop is being replaced with a "swoosh" since the track going into and coming out of the former loop dont line up. Also the manufacturer of the new trains starts with the letter G. I know Twisted Twins has Gerstlauer trains and they're awful. And I heard ...

When I went up last year I would pretty much ride Vortex and Shake, Rattle and Roll about 4 times each, then walk around the park for a few hours and go home. I don't plan on buying a pass this year - but probably will go up twice during the year. I just don't want to get totally burnt out on it. It...

I really liked this coaster. The trackwork was smooth (maybe a little too smooth for 20s style). But the layout was very 20s. The airtime was rediculous. I would definately ride that in the back. Theres like -2.0 spikes. Insane ejector air - maybe even dangerous. But back in the day rides were like ...

The loop was a cool experience, but I think one of the weirdest things is just being that high up/ It is still the tallest roller coaster I have ever been on. Now I know Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force go WAY higher and also only have lapbars to hold you in - but it is still kind of weird. ...

The loop didn't really do anything for me. I am not afraid of going upside down. And I don't think its weird going through a loop with just a lap bar as I have been on Greezed Lightnin which has a smaller bar. I hat to see them do any drastic changes to it like this - but at least it's still around....

It's just exposure. There aren't many enthusiasts that are as exposed to public scruitny as Paul and Robb and of course the truly infamous Paul "my coaster riding banana is floating" Ruben. The more you get your name out there - the more people are going to form opinions of you. And you can't please...
