Re: Netflix...what are you watching?

I saw the ST3 trailer and it looks awesome. I am curious to see the whole take on mall culture and wondering how whatever monster works into it.

Some of those look incredible. Heck, most of them. Are you looking to restore them or something?
The ones that are all rusted no...there isn't much I can do with them. I'd like to get some tarnish remover on some of the silver ones...especially the Columbian Exposition one.

Re: six over Mid America Rail Blazer commerical

Didn't Worlds of Fun have similar trains on their stand up coaster? You wouldn't be able to make the Rail Blazer in No Limits because it doesn't have two seat wide stand up cars. If you look closely at the River King Mine Train at SFSTL you can still see some the red paint from the Rail Blazer peek...

Re: six over Mid America Rail Blazer commerical

That is a great video...especially since photos of those trains are so scarce.

Thanks

Amusement Park Spoons

We got an interesting gift the other day. Carrie's parents dropped off a box of her Great Grandmother's collectable spoons. Carrie had a bit of a collection going and really enjoyed her Great Grandmothers collection when she was a kid. So the spoons were passed down to her. In the box there were man...

Re: Skyscraper Orlando Coaster

Well the ride may be boring but put a boring coaster up that high and suddenly there is more thrill...just look at the coaster that was on top of the Stratasphere in Vegas.

A bunch of us are planning on being there....starting up in San Fran and working down to the con. Welcome to the forum Rafelot017. Come and join in on our Sunday and Wednesday...

The Return of the Negative-G Road Trip: California Or Bust 2019

Ok we are starting to work out some sort of a plan for Coaster Con 42...and we'd like to have a bunch of you join us. Amanda worked out a few options but this is the one I like the most: Friday: 1. Fly into Oakland on the Friday before: 2. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom that night - drive down towards ...

Re: Netflix...what are you watching?

While it is not on Netflix I have finally gotten around to watching Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut". Wow there is a lot of different levels in here (like in most Kubrick movies) and some of them are pretty messed up with the whole illuminati/secret societies/mind control sort of thing. Wonderful ...

Re: STSTL new ride for 2019 Supergirl

It will be a good ride (although the Supergirl theme does not fit in Brittania) but I look forward to SFSTL doing something other than replacing old rides.

Re: Six Flags Great Adventure...Tips?

My guess is a week day early in the season. With that park so close to such a massively populated area weekdays are the best bet and if you can go when school is in session it will be a huge plus!

Re: 2019 plans

Con will be the big one for me but I know Travis, Andrew and a few others are talking about a Kings Island/CP trip. Might make it into a -G Road Trip. Outside of that and of course HWN, HW a few times, WOF and SDC that will be it for me.
