Re: The Flying Turns is open!!!!!!!!

^Only if it can be done with "circles and lines" like the original ;) And no seat dividers.

Funny, last night I was at the Jewel in the "mini mall/police station/courthouse/tech college" plot where Riverview used to sit. Kinda weird... late at night, thinking "the midway was right here!"

Re: Banned From SF For LIfe Guy Fights Back

It's undeniably creepy on the front, but people really judge quickly and harshly... do we know of any "mental" conditions this person may have? I'm not saying that it still wouldn't be creepy or not OK, but we tend to be harsh. Some people are disabled or special-abled with out looking like it. This...

Re: Backwards Batman

Vomit stories. Working the unload brake on CP Blue Streak (when it was manual, of course), the train comes in and I stop it. Guests are all "ewww" and "awww..." Then a lady runs to talk to me (from across the track) and starts yelling at me "someone threw up! it got in my kids mouth! and in my hair!...

^Heck yeah! They could do a vertical loop... I mean, even the one on Son Of Beast was near-perfect. But not as perfect as Anton's loops :D

I guess they make up for that by being uniform in other ways. Like more concrete ways. Sorry, that was bad but had to :)

Re: Backwards Batman

I found Batman backwards to (surprisingly) be less intense than forward. I think it's mostly due to the fact that your back isn't being pushed by the seat back; there is less force-contact. But you have to know where the corkscrews are, and hold your head to one side for the "snap" in each of them. ...

Re: The Boss Redone Rocky Mountain Style...What would you do

I fully expect RMC to bust a loop out (a vertical one) soon. I think there was a video or interview with Adam Skilke (sp?) of RMC saying they were not going to do any "vertical loops or high G maneuvers." Kinda stinks, but maybe they will change their minds. Thing is, with a vertical loop you almos...

Re: SFStL Boomerang media day TR

Filling a train is harder than you think, I work at Batman at SFSTL and noticed most people line up for the front leaving other rows empty causing the line to back up. Then you have people that don't want to ride with a single rider even if their group will fit on the train. The only way we can get...

Re: Daredevil Daze 2013

Demon where you been? LOL, you're right the rides weren't to bad. In fact it was actually fairly ridable with nobody on the ride besides us. Just being my normal everyday ADHD outpatient :) Yeah, the ride ops at Ninja were fun too. We had a good time - we made our minds up before we got there and i...

Re: SFStL Boomerang media day TR

I know we could pass on it, but in general, people love those silly Boomerangs. They are a spectacle. My wish is that SF would clue into how poor their service is, and at least "ask for help" or something. I could spend a few hours showing crews how to fill up trains and get them out on time (all wh...

Hey now, Gump and I rode Ninja a couple times before ERT last year :) They were kinda meant as "courtesy rides" but we ended up having a good time!

Re: The Boss Redone Rocky Mountain Style...What would you do

Well this is great but disturbing. Great because it seems whatever RMC touches turns to gold, but disturbing because I thought Boss was one of the best rides ever last September during Dare Devil Daze. I thought it had a couple rough spots in the large pull-outs and helix, but overall was the in the...
