The Skyscraper at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio

After we met up with Paul we headed off to Challenge Park to give the Skyscraper a try.  Ken went with Mike and the two of them had fun then came me.

Here I am all alone after my Skyscraper ride.  If you don't know what a Skyscraper is it's basically a Ferris Wheel from Hell!  It's a 150 foot boom that rotates.  At the ends are these two person seats where you're strapped in with a 5 point harness.  What makes this a Ferris Wheel From Hell is the fact that the cars can rock.  They can flip over which is pretty sweet but the rocking is where this ride sucks big time.

You see I hate the feeling of rocking.  It's terribly unnerving and on the Skyscraper  after you get a good flip you get extreme rocking.  This scared the crap out of me.  Now I loved the flips and going head first to the ground but being by myself and rocking like nuts it was a bit much for me.  When the ride was finally done going forewords and backwards I announced to pretty much all of Challenge Park "I like this ride but the rocking F'ing SUCKS!"  Of course the guys all had a laugh over that.

After rocking back and forth a hundred and fifty feet in the sky I needed something solid beneath me like a coaster.

Here's Bond trying to exert as much force on Millennium Force's sign.  We really lucked out because our first night at Cedar Point was a season pass holder ride night on Millennium Force so after the park closed we had another hour and a half in which to ride Millie as much as we wanted.
