This trip though we didn't have half of the greater Toronto area visiting Canada's Wonderland so there were not many lines to contend with.

The Vortex roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland, Vaughn, Ontario, Canada

I had to take Vortex for a spin for a couple of reasons.

First off it is one of the few remaining Arrow Dynamics designed Suspended coasters. Secondly as it now wraps around Yukon Striker I wanted to see how those close calls affected the ride.

I have a confession to make. I totally love Thunder Run at Canada's Wonderland.

Thunder Run is a powered coaster that opened with Canada's Wonderland in 1981. It moved up here into Wonder Mountain in 1986 and had some wonderful theming added to the ride.
