Bond and I have been suffering the off season blues so when we found out that Worlds of Fun was having a construction tour of their new coaster we decided to jump on it and get out of the house.  So we reserved a hotel room, hopped in the car and headed west.  After a night of early season coaster riding at Zonkers (a photo update of that coming soon) in the Kansas City area we were off to Worlds of Fun for the construction tour.



The tour didn't start until noon so we decided to drive around the park and take a look at it's coasters like Mamba.



The mist under Mamba's turnaround puzzled me until I remembered that Worlds of Fun sits above the Hunt SubTropolis which is a massive underground warehouse that fills an old limestone mine.  The mist was from one of the Subtropolis' air vents.



Bond was more than a bit excited and ready to go.  I mean snow and coasters what more could a kid ask for.
