Like many of the theme parks that sprouted up across the country in the 1970's Worlds of Fun really went out and landscaped the park so that their guests could be transported away from the real world to somewhere they could just leave their problems behind and have fun.  What's interesting is that you can tell where the old and new sections of the park are by the lack of lush landscaping in the new sections.



In addition to all of the greenery naturally at Worlds of Fun the park was all decked out for their Halloween Haunt celebration.



There were decorations everywhere which is nice to see as I've been to some parks Halloween events where except for a few select locations there are hardly any decorations to be found.



From the looks of it Worlds of Fun keeps all of their old stuff like these old Skee-Ball games for use as decorations for their Haunt.  Personally though I'd love to take one of these off their hands for my own home.
